The Ministry of Public Infrastructure (MPI) says it is forging ahead with a project that will see the removal of trailers and derelict vehicles that have been left behind by their owners.
According to the MPI, “oftentimes, the vehicles are left on Government reserves and are unlit, thereby proving a safety hazard to road users. In some cases — such as at Little Diamond, EBD — the trailers and/or derelict vehicles are left on sidewalks, making these facilities unavailable to pedestrians and cyclists.”
The Ministry says that it is urging the owners of trailers and derelict vehicles left on Government reserves to “remove them immediately.”
