[www.inewsguyana.com] – Prime Ministerial Candidate of the APNU+AFC coalition, Moses Nagamootoo and his wife, Sita Nagamootoo voted on Monday morning at the Aquatic Centre, Liliendaal, greater Georgetown.
While expressing confidence in the voting systems in place, Nagamootoo urged Guyanese to go out vote.
“It’s your duty as citizens and your duty as patriots as you decide who should be governing you, who should be running your affairs. They should all come out to vote and not allow this opportunity to pass because anyone who allows someone else to vote for him or her can’t complain afterwards,” Nagamootoo told reporters shortly after casting his ballot.
During the course of the day, the Prime Minister hopeful intends to travel to various polling stations to observe the process and address any complaints that they may receive.
Meanwhile, Nagamootoo also expressed hope of a victory for the APNU+AFC coalition, as they seek to end the 23 year rule of the People’s Progressive Party Civic (PPP/C).
“I repose my full confidence in a massive victory today…Today for me, this is not just an election, it’s a revolution. It’s where I believe that we can make decisive and revolutionary change for Guyana.”
Jeez, Naga looks like he just woke up from bed.
Ramotar and the PPP/C were never interested in shared governance, because it would have prevented them from committing their wrongdoings, which appear to have been their agenda. They are so accustomed to telling lies, that it seems, they will never stop.
