A 25-year-old man is now dead and several others injured following an accident which occurred during the wee hours of today along the Soesdyke Public Road, East Bank Demerara.
Dead is Quamie Dalton, a bus conductor, of Timehri, EBD.
Reports are that a motorcar driven by Shaquille Henry – which included four passengers including Dalton – was travelling at a fast rate of speed.
Whilst in the vicinity of the Soesdyke junction, the vehicle crashed into a median and lost control of the vehicle.
Investigations are ongoing.
