Days after clubbing a West Coast Demerara man to death, the suspect who was on the run was on Thursday evening apprehended by the police. He was wanted for the murder of Ramesh Manbodh, 40, of 665 Bess Village, West Coast Demerara.
The now dead man, was beaten with a cricket bat two Thursdays ago but only succumbed to his injuries on Sunday while receiving medical attention at the Georgetown Public Hospital.
He was reportedly attacked at his home after he allegedly stopped his niece from talking to the suspect. Charges are expected to be laid shortly.
