Team Mohamed’s blew away the competition on Sunday during Round One of the Guyana Motor Racing and Sports Club (GMR&SC) Drag Races as they reset the strip record in the unlimited category with a more-than-impressive pass.
The Nissan GTR referred to as “Godzilla”, which was driven by Terrence Cox, clocked 7.50s to shatter the previous record, which was set on Saturday. The white GTR beat out the Team’s Black GTR nicknamed “Goliath”, driven by Azruddin Mohamed, to take the title.
Anil Persaud took top honours in the 15 second pass while Mahendra Singh and his machine, a Mitsubishi Evo 10 beat out the competition in the 14-second pass contest.
Imran Khan and his custom Toyota Camry were the fastest in the 13-second pass. Sahadeo Rampersaud and Raymond John controlled the 12-second and 11-second passes respectively.
