– body found slumped in vehicle with gunshot wounds

A 24-year-old taxi driver from Zeelugt, West Coast Demerara, was found dead in his motor car at Tuschen Housing Scheme, East Bank Essequibo, a few hours ago.
According to several sources, the young man Roland Jodi, who is also known as ‘Vishal’, was hired by two males to take them to “Black Water” in Tuschen Housing Scheme, EBE.
Speculations are that the passengers shot Jodi and robbed him before fleeing the scene.
The body of the man was found in the car with two gunshot wounds, according to the Police ‘D’ Division Commander, Leslie James.
An investigation has been launched into this tragedy. (More details in a subsequent report)
