[www.inewsguyana.com] – Three men are in police custody following a brazen robbery on Friday, December 04 on Main Street, Georgetown.
According to a police report, at about 14:45 hrs, three men armed with handguns entered the AH&L Outlet at Main Street, Georgetown, and held up the supervisor, a clerk and a customer and took away an undisclosed sum of cash and two cell phones and escaped in a motor vehicle.
iNews understands that the police anti-crime patrols responded to the report and the motor vehicle was later intercepted in Middle Street, Georgetown, with three men inside who matched the descriptions of the perpetrators of the armed robbery.
They are in police custody assisting with the investigations.
