The man highly believed to have hacked a 39-year-old Police woman to death in her Number 30 Village, West Coast Berbice home, and subsequently escaped, was found hanging on a tree near the Number 30 Village Seashore. He has been identified as 42-year-old Clayton Anthony of Number 30 Village, WCB.
Earlier today, INews reported that the lifeless body of Kenesha Sheriff-Fraser –a mother of two- was found in her lot 370 Number 30 Village, WCB home with several chop wounds about her body.
Based on information received, the woman reportedly met her demise at around 09:00hrs, after eyewitnesses heard two persons arguing, and not long after, screams emanating from the upper flat of the home.
Anthony was seen fleeing the scene with a rope in his possession and after checks were made, Sherriff-Fraser’s body was discovered with a bloody cutlass next to her.
The accused was later found hanging on a tree near the Number 30 Village Seashore, according to police reports.
The perpetrator reportedly resided in the lower flat of Sherriff-Fraser’s home and the two were said to be romantically involved.
Investigations are on-going.
