Police are now searching for three bandits, one of whom has been identified, after they broke into a Hadfield Street boutique, near the Brickdam Police Station yesterday morning.
Reports are that the trio relieved the business of an undisclosed quantity of cash and valuables. The owner of the entity- who wished to remain anonymous- stated that he received a call from a friend, relaying that his store had been broken into and robbed.
He stated that when the Police were contacted, they reported several hours after the bandits would have escaped.
It was also noted that the bandits gained entry into the building using a crowbar, after their attempts to saw off a padlock had failed.
