A delivery clerk attached to Survival Supermarket pleaded not guilty to an assault charge when he appeared before Magistrate Fabayo Azore.
The court was told that on July 12 at Survival Supermarket Davanand Koblall unlawfully assaulted Allen Carrington.
The accused, who was not represented by an Attorney told the court that on the day in question he was at work when he noticed that someone had abandoned a car in front of the Supermarket and as such he informed the virtual complainant.
The accused said they had an argument in which the virtual complainant became annoyed and reported the matter. However, the virtual complainant told the Magistrate that he does not want to proceed with the matter and requested for the accused to be warned.
The matter was eventually dismissed and both men were bonded to keep the peace. [Royan Abrams]
