[www.inewsguyana.com] – A Guyanese Student Pilot was shot last evening (June, 20), at 3rd Avenue, Diamond Housing Scheme, East Bank Demerara by a man who is reportedly known to him and his family.
Colwyn St. Hellen of Diamond, East Bank Demerara was treated and sent away from the Georgetown Public Hospital (GPHC), earlier today (June, 21), after receiving a single gunshot wound to his right leg.
According to Crime Chief Leslie James, the assailant is only known as “Malcolm” and is yet to be apprehended.
However, the man’s relatives remain tight lipped on what occurred. Currently the police are investigating the matter.
