As the St. Lucia Zouks team gear up for their first match in the Hero Caribbean Premier League (CPL) on June 29th when the Zouks face Trinbago Knight Riders in Trinidad, they took to the pitch at the Darren Sammy Cricket Stadium for a two day training camp.
Whilst gelling as Michael Hussey echoed during a press conference the previous day, the Under 19 St. Lucia Cricket Team graced the players with their presence.
The St. Lucia Zouks team were welcoming and embraced the Under 19 Team comprising of 12 players.
Michael Hussey and Shane Watson took the lead in getting to know the team better whilst the Kyle Mayers, David Miller and Gidron Pope, to name a few, were more than happy to share some bowling and batting tips.
Soon after the Zouks players challenged the Under 19 Team to a friendly competition match.
Coach Emmanuel for the Under 19 team expressed his gratitude, as his players get ready to set off this Sunday for the Windward Islands Tournament in St. Vincent.
In the meantime, the Zouks prepare for their upcoming matches both regionally and at home.
