On Thursday, scores of children in the villages of Number 76 Corriverton, and Crabwood Creek, Berbice, benefitted from the annual “Easter Share Out” of kites hosted by the Springlands Police Station which brought joy and delight to many young ones and their families.
INews was told that this was a collaborative venture between police officers of that Station and private donors which range from shopkeepers, prominent businesses and citizens in the area.
This second annual event saw over 175 kites being distributed by ranks of the Springlands Police Station to children of all ages in the above-mentioned villages to ensure that they have a “brighter and fun-filled” Easter 2016.
