A motorcyclist lost his life in the wee hours of this morning when he lost control while negotiating turn on the Kitty Public Road, Georgetown.
Dead is 22 year old, Suresh Kellowan of Good Hope, East Coast Demerara (ECD). The accident occurred at around 03:00hrs.
Reports are that the biker was proceeding west while attempting to negotiate the turn in the vicinity of the Russian Embassy when he lost control.
Kellowan reportedly slide and collided with the guard rail of the said Russian Embassy.
The young man, who was not wearing a safety helmet, was picked up and rushed to the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation (GPHC) where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
