[www.inewsguyana.com] – Staff from special schools will be treated to an eight week swimming camp at the Colgrain Swimming Pool starting from Friday which is being hosted by the National Sports Commission in conjunction with Special Olympics Guyana.
Twelve (12) participants are set to be a part of the programme, with representatives coming from; Ptolemy Reid Rehabilitation Centre, Special Needs School East Bank Demerara, St Barnabas Special School and David Rose School for the Handicapped.
With the objective of the course being to proficient swimmers to conduct swimming sessions for their respective institution coach Stephanie Fraser who is very experienced will be conducting the sessions that is expected to last until October 31.
