[www.inewsguyana.com] – A 17 – year – old Sophia youth on Monday (February 17) met his untimely demise when he drown in an interior location.
The dead teen has been identified as Hassani David.
The former Campbellville Secondary School Student had reportedly gone to the area to seek employment.
According to one of the boy’s friend, David had applied to the Guyana Police Force and was awaiting a call. The friend said David lost patience and opted to travel to the interior to work.
“I’m shocked right now, I can’t believe it… we both went to school together and he was such a nice boy, always looking for something to do” the sobbing teen’s friend told iNews.
