[www.inewsguyana.com] – Thirty – eight – year old Mahesh Kumar of 4th Street La Penitence Georgetown was sentence to six months in jail for two counts of assault, one count of threatening behavior and one count of threatening language which he committed against his mother and step – father.
Kumar pleaded guilty before Magistrate Judy Latchman. According to the particulars of the case, on September 27, the accused was armed with a cutlass and assaulted his stepfather.
