[www.inewsguyana.com] – Wesley Ferdanance was yesterday sentenced to six months imprisonment for stealing a car battery.
He pleaded not guilty to the offence of simple larceny charge, when it was read to him by Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine – Beharry.
Particulars of the charge stated that on September 23 at Croal Street, Georgetown, he stole one car battery valued $17, 000, property of Anika Jacobs.
Police Inspector Michael Grant told the Court that Ferdanance was convicted of similar other offences.
