Several women are now injured following a confrontation moments ago at Quamina Street, Georgetown.
It is unclear how many persons were involved in the fight.
But INews understands that one woman sustained multiple chop wounds about her body and is currently in a critical state at a city hospital.
Commander Edgar Thomas says police are investigating the matter.
