[www.inewsguyana.com] – Passengers travelling in a route 46 minibus, along Durban Street, Georgetown walked away from an accident moments ago with minor bruises and scratches.
Information reaching iNews suggests that the minibus was travelling east along Durban Street when it collided head on with a pick- up; travelling south along Smyth Street.
The bus – BEE 9758 – was badly damaged to the front and was towed away from the scene with a shattered windshield while the pick – up – PRR 9121 – appeared untouched.
The bus was reportedly transporting more than five persons at the time.
A police investigation has been launched.
