[www.inewsguyana.com] – Five men and three women are nursing serious injuries after the vehicle they were in crashed on the McDoom public road, East Bank Demerara on Monday, March 17.

iNews (www.inewsguyana.com) understands that the injured were heading to Georgetown in a Red Ford 150 vehicle (GRR 4883) when it suffered a ‘blow out’, causing the driver to lose control, resulting in the vehicle ‘flipping’ over several times.

This online news agency (www.inewsguyana.com) understands that three persons are in a critical state at the Georgetown Public Hospital.

iNews (www.inewsguyana.com) observed that the injured were partaking in the Hindu festival of Phagwah and were reportedly imbibing at the time of the accident.
