[www.inewsguyana.com] – Security Guard, Cecil Anderson, who is charged with wounding, was placed on his own recognizance by Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine – Beharry yesterday.
Anderson of West La Penitence, Georgetown pleaded not guilty to the offence which alleged that on July 21 at Croal Street, Georgetown he unlawfully and maliciously wounded Chandra Sukhram.
Police Prosecutor Michael Grant said facts are as charged and did not object to bail.
Anderson was bonded to keep the peace pending the determination of the matter and the case was transferred before Magistrate Dylon Bess for September 22.
