One week after Corlette Parks, 49, of Lot 4692 Postal Housing Scheme, Georgetown, was charged in connection with the invasion and robbery at the home of former Home Affairs Minister, Clement Rohee, a second suspect surrendered to the Police earlier today.
Crime Chief Wendell Blanhum told Inews that the suspect turned up with his lawyer at the Brickdam Police Station and he is presently in custody assisting with the investigation.
On Friday last, Parks was remanded to prison on the robbery charge and will make her next court appearance on January 11.
It was reported that Parks rented a motorcar for three suspects who carried out the brazen daylight robbery on November 9 at Eccles, East Bank Demerara.
