[www.inewsguyana.com] – Leroy John called ‘Satan’ is in Police custody for the alleged murder of his reputed wife Judith D’Oliviera/Singh.
The woman who is a mother of three was reported missing since Boxing Day (December 26) and her nude body was discovered in an advanced stage of decomposition by relatives in a clump of bushes near the Dredge Creek Health Center in the Lower Pomeroon River at around 10:30hrs on Monday (January 6).
According to reports the woman who suffered from a nervous breakdown lived with the accused ‘Satan’ for some two years in a common law relationship. Reports said the woman who at times burst bottles on the public road was constantly abused and beaten by Satan who would forcefully take away her money.
Relatives believe that Judith who has a son in the United States and two other children aged 19 and 11 was murdered since Boxing Day and her body dumped in the bushes.
Her reputed husband was taken into custody at the Charity Police Station when relatives initially reported her missing but was subsequently released.
He was again taken into custody on Monday again when the gruesome discovery was made.
A Post Mortem Examination carried out on Tuesday (January 7) related the cause of death as a stab wound to the chest.
