[www.inewsguyana.com] – Former West Indies batsman Ramnaresh Sawan will not play in the NAGICO Super50 regional tournament scheduled for later this month in Trinidad and Tobago.
The confirmation came when Trinidad release their 14-man squad excluding the out of favour batsman. During the West Indies Cricket Board’s (WICB) Regional 4 – day tournament, Sarwan who was drafted by the Red Force team as a second round pick, withdrew from the team and tournament due to personal reasons.
Sarwan for some time now has been struggling to get back into batting form as well as to return to full fitness. Whether Sarwan will return to the Red Force team on resumption of the four day competition will heavily depend on his fitness.

Sarwan worry with Gayle and company and wanted to be big, bad and powerful people to bring down the wicb. He’s paying for his actions of past, plenty sporting and no training. Yet another enigmatic player to come from Guyana who failed to deliver! Will go down in history as an average player! Hope he saved his money as I’m quite sure he didn’t have a good education.
