[www.inewsguyana.com] – Just about a month after businesswoman Patricia ‘Patsy’ Sanasie was executed in the presence of one of her daughters; her younger brother, Vishnu Persaud has come forward with evidence that points to a close relative being involved in a plot to execute the woman.

Persaud at a press conference on Wednesday, February 11 provided media operatives with a recording that is purportedly the voice of his now dead sister and a would-be assassin discussing rescinded plans to execute the woman.

According to the man, the close relative, whose name was provided, is currently in the United States where the alleged conspirator continues to elude justice.

Persaud said that after the recording was initially taken, his sister made a report at the Sparendaam Magistrates’ Court and the man on the other end of the recording was arrested by police.

However, he was subsequently released after being held for 72 hours at the police station.

Persaud told reporters, “my sister was murdered in front of her home, they killed her, five bullets” as he explained that he is fearful for his life given that the individual allegedly wanted to kill him too.

“My sister is dead and gone but I am alive and I am fearful for my life,” said a very emotional Persaud.

He detailed knowledge of a plan to kidnap him and murder him which saw him being under surveillance from suspicious characters for over a week.

The dead woman’s brother told reporters that all of this information has been detailed to “the big ones” at the Guyana Police Force who have in turn pledged to have the person responsible for the woman’s death brought to justice.

In February of last year, both Persaud and his sister were accused of contracting killers to execute her husband Deonarine Sanasie. This was after there was a failed execution bid on the life of the businessman also known as ‘Monkey Ram’.

On January 12, 2015 the mother of three was killed as she made her way home from church at her Atlantic Gardens, East Coast of Demerara residence.

The woman was shot several times in front her residence by a lone gunman. Eyewitnesses reported that a “big built gunman” exited from a sliver colored Raum and discharged four shots at the woman while she attempted to open her gate seconds after arriving home.
