[www.inewsguyana.com] – The Guyana national rugby team had their final practice game against Tunisia on Wednesday, March 25 in lead up to their Hong Kong seven’s series.
Captain of the self proclaimed “Green Machine” Ryan Gonsalves shared that “the team is jelling well” as they prepare for their first clash against Zimbabwe.
In addition, Gonsalves noted that the team needs to get up to the speed with the game that has the more elite sides if they are to produce the goods.
“We just need to get up to the speed of the game as I said before, it’s about getting familiar with the speed of the game and communicating a lot out there and hopefully we do well,” Gonsalves said after a practice session in Hong Kong.
Guyana will go against Zimbabwe before plying Spain and Tonga in their other two clashes.
