[www.inewsguyana.com] – The Rajasthan Royals have returned to India with a bang. The side pulled of a comfortable 7 wicket win on Saturday (May 03) over their hosts, the Delhi Daredevils in the second of the Day’s indian Premier League Matches.

Batting first, the hosts were very impressive from the first ball, Quinton De Kock making 42 from 33, up until their middle order began to fail them.

Kevin Pietersen made 14 and Denish Karthik 12, as the side continued to struggle.

Jean Paul Dumminy steadied the flow of things with a crucial and innovative knock of 39 before departing while Kedar Jadhav ended with a slobbering 28 of 14 to see the side on 152 for 5 off 20.

James Faulkner and Pravin Tambe each had 2 wickets for 26 and 25 runs respectively off their maximum 4 overs each.

In their Chase, the Royals tested their batting ability, Ajinkya Rahane the first to go for 12; however his opening partner Karun Nair went on to make 73 from 50 with 7 fours and 2 sixes.

Sanju Sampson came in to post a quick fire 34 from 28 while Rajat Bhatia slammed 17 from 13 balls.

Captain Shane Watson hammered 16 in keeping with the action including the winning numbers as his side ended on 156 for 3 with some 9 balls to spare.

Wayne Parnell, Mohammed Shami and Shabazz Nadeem had one wicket each off their maximum amount of overs.

Sunday (May 04) will bring together the Royal Challengers of Bangalore and the Sun Risers Hyderabad in the lone match from 10:30hrs.
