[www.inewsguyana.com] – Hire Car and Minibus operators are asking the authorities to sanction a new fare structure for the West Bank of Demerara. The route 31 operators are proposing for fares to be increased by $20, something which they claim, passengers have no objection to.
As such, the minibus operators urged the Commerce Ministry to approve the proposed increase. They are of the view that this increase should have been implemented a long time ago.
