A route 31 conductor is now battling for his life at the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation (GPHC) after he was reportedly stabbed several times by a minibus driver at the said bus park on Wednesday.
The victim, identified as Andrew Blacks was stabbed at about 10:00h while he was attempting to escort a passenger into the minibus in which he operates.
INews understands that Blacks was attacked after he objected to the bus driver attempting to pull the said passenger away from him.
This reportedly angered the driver who allegedly pulled out a weapon and dealt him several stabs about his body.
The conductor reportedly collapsed as a result of the injuries sustained.
He was immediately picked up and rushed to the hospital where he is still admitted in a critical condition.
The bus driver has since been arrested and taken into Police custody where he is said to be assisting with investigations.
