[www.inewsguyana.com] –The Ministry of Agriculture is advising that for the next 24 hours coastal areas of Guyana particularly Regions 1 to 4 might experience heavy showers.
Cloudy to overcast skies are expected throughout Guyana with occasional showers and intermittent rain over coastal regions. Other areas scattered light showers.
Rainfall values are likely between 80.0 mm to 100.0 mm. Highest rainfalls over Regions 1 and 2. Spring Tides become effective from today and will continue until January 21, 2014.
Fishermen and other marine users are advised not to damage or interfere with the ocean platforms whose data are vital to the provision of weather information and warnings for the safety of the marine community.

Wednesday, cloudy to overcast skies is expected with occasional showers over coastal areas. Other areas expected with isolated showers. Rainfall values expected between 45.0 mm to 60.0 mm.
Thursday, Cloudy skies with scattered showers over all regions. Rainfall values expected between 25.0 mm to 35.0 mm.
Friday, Partly cloudy to cloudy skies expected with isolated showers. Rainfall values expected between 5.0 mm to 15.0 mm.
Saturday, Partly cloudy and sunny skies expected. No significant rainfall expected.
