The police are now investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a Puruni Landing, Cuyuni/Mazaruni miner whose body was discovered with wounds.
Dead is 52-year-old Kelvin Royo called Bayley of Ann’s Grove Village, East Coast Demerara (ECD).
INews understands that the man was killed sometime between September 30 and October 1.
Details at this time remains sketchy however, the man’s body bore wounds to his head, back and throat.
An investigation is currently in progress.
