One man is now seeking medical attention after a collision between his motor car, PMM5815 and a truck, GNN3531 earlier today on the Providence Public Road on the East Bank of Demerara.
Details surrounding the accident remains sketchy, but Inews understands that the two vehicles collided at the intersection in front of the GuyOil Gas Station.
The motor car sustained severe damage to its right rear, and the front bumper was knocked off, and found near a pole, suggesting that the car crashed into it. The truck however saw minor damage to its right bumper.
Inews was told that the motor car was travelling to Georgetown while the truck was heading in the opposite direction.
When Inews arrived at the scene, the drivers of the vehicles had already been taken to the Providence Police Station.
Investigations are ongoing.
