[www.inewsguyana.com] – A Linden man was shot and killed by the police moments after he disarmed a police constable and shot him before fleeing with the service weapon on Sunday, June 07 in the mining town.
According to information reaching iNews, the man, who was taken to the Wisroc Police Outpost by relatives following a domestic dispute, was being processed to be held at the facility when he disarmed the police rank, shot him and fled the scene.
The police then immediately launched a manhunt for the prisoner who was later shot and killed by the ranks. It is reported that the ranks came under fire from the prisoner.
