[www.inewsguyana.com] – Edward Skeete also known as ‘Pretty Boy’ appeared before Magistrate Ann McLennan at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court on Friday, July 31, charged with the murder of Ryan Clementson.
The 28-year-old accused, who gave his address as Lot 309 Independence Boulevard, Georgetown, was not required to plead to the indictable charge, which alleged that between July 14 and 24 at Georgetown, he unlawfully killed Clementson at Turning Point, Tucville.
Skeete, a mason by profession, was unrepresented during his court appearance and was remanded to prison. The details of the allegation were not revealed by Police Prosecutor, Dinero Jones.
The matter was adjourned to August 14. According to police reports, 25-year-old Clementson of Mocha Arcadia, East Bank Demerara succumbed to his injuries after he was shot by a gunman while in the company of another man at Turning Point, Tucville.
According to information received, Clementson was standing on the bridge at Turning Point when a man drove up on a motorcycle and discharged several rounds in his direction before fleeing.
