The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced that His Excellency Désiré Delano Bouterse, President of the Republic of Suriname, will pay a one-day working visit to Guyana on Friday, December 16, 2016, to meet with His Excellency President David Arthur Granger.
The two Heads of State are expected to discuss areas of mutual interest in an effort to deepen relations between the two countries.
At their last meeting, which was held in Nieuw Nickerie, Suriname on July 1, 2016, the Presidents had agreed to have a meeting to follow-up on their discussions.
