Essequibians turned up in their numbers at the PPP/C Office at Anna Regina, Region Two (Pomeroon /Supenaam) headquarters to join in the countrywide protest against the ‘illegal’ government.
The party supporters demanded that the Guyana Elections Commission (GECOM) be prepared to host national elections.
Over one thousand persons turned out from across the region including the Amerindian communities to throw their support behind the PPP.
