The People’s Progressive Party Civic (PPP/C) is urging the public to be aware of a fake account on social media platform Twitter, professing to be an official account of the Party and its leaders.
According to the PPP/C, the fake account, which operates under the handle @PPPCIVIC_Guyana, is not in any way affiliated or connected to the party or its members.
“The public is therefore advised that the Twitter account is fraudulent and that they should refrain from engaging the page,” the party said in a brief statement on Thursday.
