A porter lost his life on Friday morning when a truck in which he was working on ran off of the East Bank Demerara (EBD) Public Road at Providence causing him to be crushed.Details remain sketchy at this time, but it is being reported that the porter was trapped in the front seat of the truck because of his seat belt.
Unconfirmed reports are that the driver of the vehicle also received serious injuries.
