[www.inewsguyana.com] – A policeman was among two persons who died lastnight (Friday, August 1), when two motorcycles collided head on along the main access road (Second Bridge) in Diamond, East Bank Demerara.
The Policeman was identified as Constable Andrew Forde from the Brickdam Police Station. He died while receiving treatment at the Diamond Diagnostic Center.
The other was identified as Stanley Adams, a Security Guard at Demerara Distillers Limited (DDL). He was pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital.
The policeman was reportedly riding east along the access road when he attempted to overtake a car and slammed head on into the other motorcycle.
Investigations are ongoing.
