[www.inewsguyana.com] – Police ranks conducted drug eradication operations along the Canje Creek, Berbice yesterday, Thursday, November 20, where they discovered five fields of marijuana plants at Baracara.
According to a police report, the plants were approximately nine acres in size, with approximately 10,000 marijuana plants ranging in height from one foot to eight feet.
The police also found four wooden camps, which were destroyed along with the marijuana fields.
Meanwhile, at Tacoba, an unoccupied house was searched during which an improvised shotgun and the barrel of a shotgun were found. No one was arrested.
