Police say they are investigating the murder of Roy Rowland, 27, a seaman of lot 25 Castello Housing Scheme, La Penitence, Georgetown.
Rowland’s body was discovered about 06:30hrs on Wednesday morning with a suspected gunshot wound to the back of his head, on the eastern parapet of Marrigold Street, Roxanne Burnham Gardens, Georgetown.
Officers have retrieved A 9 MM spent shell which was found at the scene.
No arrests were made up to the time of publication.
