A 25-year-old man was discovered on the roadway last evening with what is suspected to be stab wounds about his body.
INews was told that he has been identified as Dellon Branford of Patentia, West Bank Demerara (WBD).
Reports are that around 19:30h on Wednesday, the injured young man was found lying on the roadway in his village by passers-by and he was immediately rushed to the hospital for emergency medical treatment.
However, shortly after being admitted to the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation (GPHC), Branford drew his last breath while receiving treatment.
Meanwhile, police ranks have arrested two persons, a male and a female, in connection with the matter. The two suspects are said to be currently assisting police with the investigations.
