[www.inewsguyana.com] – The Guyana Police Force on August 18 introduced its Facebook Page as it seeks to have broader connection with members of the public.

Commissioner of Police, Seelall Persaud explained that the Facebook Page will feature various information which the police wish to share with the public, including press releases.
According to Commissioner Persaud, the Page is designed in a way that persons can post information they wish to share with the police.
It is widely believed that the Facebook Page will become very active with comments and posts by members of the public. It is being managed by the Public Relations Department of the Guyana Police Force.
Persons have long called for the establishment of Police Force Facebook page where they can share information and encounters with police officers at police stations and on the roadways.
