Police in the “F” Division conducted a drug bust during the wee hours of Tuesday morning in the Moco Moco Mountains, Lethem area.
According to the Divisional Commander, the bust took place at approximately 03:00hrs as ranks were in patrol in the said area. He said that the law enforcement officials came across approximately 1 acre of cultivated cannabis (1000 plants) ranging in height from six inches to nine feet.
Police in a statement said that two males have been arrested and a camp house with harvested cannabis, along with the prohibited plants were photographed and destroyed by fire.
