Prime Minister and First Vice President Moses Nagamootoo has been discharged from the hospital, days after successful heart bypass surgery, and is currently undergoing rehabilitation.
According to an official statement from the Ministry of the Presidency, Prime Minister Nagamootoo’s progress is steady and he is scheduled for further examinations in the coming days.
Nagamootoo, on February 12, underwent heart by-pass surgery in the United States of America and the medical procedure was completed successfully.
The Prime Minister has expressed his personal gratitude to President David Granger and the Ministers of Government, and all those who expressed wishes of support, the statement added.
