Photos: New permanent Embassy to be constructed in Brazil- Foreign Affairs

Minister of Foreign Affairs, Carl Greenidge and Minister of Public Infrastructure, David Patterson, turned the sod in a ceremony on Wednesday 27 June to mark the construction of a permanent chancery for the Guyana Embassy in Brazil. Work on the new building is due to begin shortly in Brasilia.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has sent out a photo release outlining only that a new Embassy will be constructed in Brazil for Guyana.

Undersecretary-General for South America, Central America and the Caribbean in the Brazilian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Paulo Estivallet Mesquita, also participated at the sod turning ceremony.
