[www.inewsguyana.com] – Budding star and possible medal candidate at this year’s Carifta Games, Kenisha Phillips might not attend the game set for April in St Kitts and Nevis.
This is according to her Coach and Uncle, Linden Phillips. Although Phillips qualified for the 200 female under 18 200 metres with a blistering time of 24.6s at just 13 years old, the senior Phillips highlighted that of he is not attending the games and the speedster will not be attending either.
“If I’m not going, she will not be going because I don’t think she will be comfortable with the other Coaches and she won’t perform…I spoke with (Aubrey) Hutson and he said he would get back to me,” Phillips stated.
Phillips currently is Guyana’s leading junior female sprinter and is a possible medalist at the upcoming Carifta Games.
