Persons escape injury in Agricola accident

[wwwinewsguyana.com] – A two vehicular accident along the East Bank of Demerara, in the community of Agricola resulted in miles of backed-up traffic on Wednesday evening, October 23. No one was reported injured.

iNews was informed that two cars were travelling south along the highway when one stopped, indicating that it was turning right, possibly to return to Georgetown.

One eyewitness said that the car immediately behind the stopped car, slammed into its back, throwing it into the pathway of a truck belong to BK International.

Police arrived on the scene promptly and did their best to ensure that the traffic was flowing freely again. It took close to two hours after the accident to achieve this.
