The partially decomposed body that was fished out of a trench at Craig Sideline Dam, East Bank Demerara on Monday afternoon has been identified as Kevin Ketwaroo, 28, of Friendship.
Ketwaroo called “Wild buck” was identified by his two siblings on Tuesday.
He reportedly worked as a mason and a security guard.
INews was told that the postmortem examination on the deceased’s body has not yet been conducted.
Ketwaroo’s body was seen floating in the trench at about 14:45h by a villager who immediately raised an alarm.
The Grove Police Station was subsequently contacted.
Investigations are ongoing.
